We, the Heads of State and Government and High Representatives, meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 25 to 27 September 2015, have decided today on new global Sustainable Development Goals.
On behalf of the peoples we serve, we have adopted a historic decision on a comprehensive, far-reaching and people-centred set of universal and transformative Goals and targets.

End poverty in all its forms everywhere
By 2030, eradicate extreme poverty for all people everywhere, currently measured as people living on less than $1.25 a day.
